Template:Patch name

Dates should be inputted in YYYY-MM-DD format with leading zeros (e.g. {{patch name|year|month|day}}, {{tlx|0.205.6|2021|12|09).

Usage

• {{patch name|04|15|2011}} (where 04 is the month of April, 15 is the day and 2011 the year) produces: [[Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-15 2011, 04 Patch|Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-2011 04, 15 Patch]]
• {{patch name|04|15|2011}} on Page/pt-br would produce: [[Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-15 2011, 04 Patch|Atualização de 04 de Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-2011 de 15]]
• {{patch name|04|15|2011|no-link=yes}} produces: Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-2011 04, 15 Patch
• {{patch name|04|15|2011|link=Test}} produces: [[Test|Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-2011 04, 15 Patch]]
• {{patch name|04|15|2011|date=true}} produces: [[Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-15 2011, 04 Patch|Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-2011 04, 15]] (link label contains the date only)
• {{patch name|04|15|2011|date-only=yes}} produces: Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-15 2011, 04 (no links to patches and label only contains the date. Useful for events not associated with patches)
• {{patch name|04|15|2011|sort=yes}} will add an invisible string 2011-04-15 at the start of the result. This can be usefull in sortable tables
• {{patch name|April|15|2011}} produces: [[Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-15 2011, April Patch|Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-2011 April, 15 Patch]] (English month names work)
• {{patch name|4|15|2011}} produces: [[Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-15 2011, 4 Patch|Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-2011 4, 15 Patch]] (Single-digit month numbers work)
• {{patch name|04|15|2011|in-the}} produces: [[Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-15 2011, 4 PatchTemplate:Dictionary/common strings/patch-suffix|Template:Dictionary/common strings/patch-in-the-fmt]] (No difference in English, but useful in languages for which the wording is different in sentences of the type "In the April 15th Patch, something happened".)

You can also indicate if patch is beta:

• {{patch name|11|18|2011|beta}} produces: [[Template:Dictionary/common strings/month-18 2011, 11 PatchTemplate:Dictionary/common strings/patch-suffix|Template:Dictionary/common strings/patch-beta-fmt]]
• {{patch name|11|18|2011|beta|no-link=yes}} produces: Template:Dictionary/common strings/patch-beta-fmt

Or a Xbox patch:
